Opéra de Massy

Opéra de Massy

The Opéra de Massy is an agreeable and modern architectural grouping founded and directed in 1993 by Jack-Henri Soumère. The first structure to be labelled « registered operatic stage », the Opéra de Massy has today established itself as a place of reference as regards artistic production and participates in a policy of cultural development on a regional scale. A resolutely modern auditorium, it incorporates a 14 200 m2  cultural centre by combining the traditional rules of construction of large stages with the use of advanced techniques both on an architectural as well as on an acoustic plane.
